Sie spielen aber auch bei der Forschung, Lehre und Weiterbildung eine gro\u00dfe Rolle. Um in den Bereichen Optik und Photonik auf dem aktuellsten Stand zu sein und sich mit Vertreter:innen der Branche \u00fcber kommende Entwicklungen auszutauschen, sind unsere Arbeitsgruppenleiter des<span>\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hs-aalen.de\/de\/pages\/zentrum-fur-optische-technologien-zot_arbeitsgebiete\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><i class=\"fa-hsaa f-link\"><\/i>Zentrums f\u00fcr Optische Technologien<\/a><span>\u00a0<\/span>(ZOT) aktuell in San Francisco auf der &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/spie.org\/conferences-and-exhibitions\/photonics-west\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Photonics West 2023<\/a>&#8220;.<\/p>\n<p>Diese ist eine der wichtigsten j\u00e4hrlichen Veranstaltungen, auf welcher das Beste aus Forschung und Technologie im Bereich Photonik vorgestellt wird. Internationale f\u00fchrende Pers\u00f6nlichkeiten aus Wissenschaft, Industrie und Regierung kommen zusammen, um sich auszutauschen und zu informieren. Dabei wird unter anderem \u00fcber Forschung in den Bereichen biomedizinische Optik, Biophotonik, Industrielaser, Optoelektronik, Mikrofertigung, MOEMS-MEMS, Displays, Quantentechnologien, einschlie\u00dflich Quantum 2.0, diskutiert.<\/p>\n<p>Die Stadt Aalen hat sich j\u00fcngst daf\u00fcr entschieden, zwei Stiftungsprofessuren im Bereich Photonik an der Hochschule Aalen zu bezuschussen. \u00dcber f\u00fcnf Jahre unterst\u00fctzt die Stadt mit insgesamt rund 533.000 Euro. Hierbei sind auch der Ostalbkreis un die Stadt Oberkochen sowie zwei namhafte Unternehmen der Region beteiligt. Eine Stiftungsprofessur wird dem Thema &#8220;Angewandte Quanteninformationsverarbeitung&#8221; gewidmet sein, die andere &#8220;Lasermaterialbearbeitung&#8221;. Diese Professuren kommen insbesondere den Studieng\u00e4ngen<span>\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hs-aalen.de\/de\/pages\/b-eng-optical-engineering_auslandserfahrungen\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><i class=\"fa-hsaa f-link\"><\/i>Optical Engineering<\/a><span>\u00a0<\/span>und<span>\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hs-aalen.de\/de\/pages\/m-sc-applied-photonics_alumni\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><i class=\"fa-hsaa f-link\"><\/i>Applied Photonics\u00a0<\/a>zugute. Damit ist die Hochschule Aalen auf absolut zukunftstr\u00e4chtigem Terrain unterwegs.
