Das mit Bundesmitteln gef\u00f6rderte Projekt \u201estructur.e\u201c m\u00f6chte dazu beitragen und hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, neue Lithium-Ionen-Batterien f\u00fcr Elektrofahrzeuge mit verbesserter Schnellladef\u00e4higkeit zu entwickeln. In einem Verbund mit renommierten Kooperationspartnern aus Wirtschaft und Wissenschaft sollen dabei komplett neue L\u00f6sungsans\u00e4tze verfolgt werden. Bereits heute liegen erste vielversprechende Ergebnisse vor, die deren Potenzial belegen.<\/p>\n<p>Der Startschuss f\u00fcr das vom Bundesministerium f\u00fcr Wirtschaft und Energie gef\u00f6rderte Projekt \u201estructur.e\u201c ist mit dem k\u00fcrzlich erfolgten Kick-off Meeting beim Projektkoordinator <a href=\"https:\/\/www.volkswagenag.com\/de.html\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Volkswagen AG<\/a> in Wolfsburg gefallen. Neben der Hochschule Aalen nahmen daran zahlreiche Projektpartner teil, wie beispielsweise <a href=\"https:\/\/www.porsche.com\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Porsche Deutschland<\/a>, die <a href=\"https:\/\/www.trumpf.com\/de_DE\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Trumpf Laser GmbH\u00a0<\/a>aus Ditzingen, das <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dlr.de\/dlr\/desktopdefault.aspx\/tabid-10002\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Deutsches Zentrum f\u00fcr Luft- und Raumfahrt<\/a> aus Stuttgart, das <a href=\"https:\/\/www.itwm.fraunhofer.de\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Fraunhofer-Institut f\u00fcr Techno- und Wirtschaftsmathematik<\/a> aus Kaiserslautern sowie das <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zsw-bw.de\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Zentrum f\u00fcr Sonnenenergie- und Wasserstoff-Forschung<\/a> aus Ulm.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Lange Wartezeigen bald pass\u00e9?<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>\u201estructur.e\u201c wird in den n\u00e4chsten dreieinhalb Jahren mit knapp 6 Millionen Euro gef\u00f6rdert. Zus\u00e4tzlich bringen die Unternehmen weitere Eigenleistungen ein. Die beteiligten Partner eint das Ziel, den Strom schneller in den \u201eTank\u201c, sprich, die Batterie, zu bekommen und damit die l\u00e4stige Wartezeit beim Laden der Elektrofahrzeuge zu verk\u00fcrzen. Dabei werden an den jeweiligen Standorten unterschiedlichste L\u00f6sungsans\u00e4tze verfolgt und experimentelle Expertise mit Know-how im Bereich der numerischen Simulation zusammengef\u00fchrt. Last but not least sollen \u2013 falls m\u00f6glich \u2013 die L\u00f6sungsans\u00e4tze miteinander kombiniert und schnell in die Anwendung und den Markt herangef\u00fchrt werden.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Mit dem Laser strukturieren<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Der an der Hochschule Aalen verfolgte Ansatz zielt auf den inneren, strukturellen Aufbau der nur 50\u2013150 \u00b5m gro\u00dfen Batterieelektroden. Das Team um die Professoren <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hs-aalen.de\/de\/users\/972\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Volker Knoblauch<\/a> vom <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hs-aalen.de\/de\/facilities\/90\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Institut f\u00fcr Materialforschung<\/a> (IMFAA) und <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hs-aalen.de\/de\/users\/95\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Harald Riegel<\/a> vom <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hs-aalen.de\/de\/facilities\/97\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">LaserApplikationsZentrum<\/a> (LAZ) setzt dabei unter anderem auf den Einsatz von Lasern zur Mikrostrukturierung der Elektroden. \u201eMit dem Laser k\u00f6nnen wir die Funktion der Elektroden gezielt beeinflussen, indem wir oberfl\u00e4chennah Poren freilegen oder aber dreidimensionale Strukturen herstellen \u2013 in beiden F\u00e4llen m\u00f6chten wir den Transport der Lithium-Ionen beim Laden verbessern\u201c, erl\u00e4utert Professor Riegel. Erste Vorarbeiten zeigten einen positiven Effekt auf die sogenannte Stromratenf\u00e4higkeit und sollen nun im Projekt weiterverfolgt werden.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Mit den Gro\u00dfen kooperieren<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>\u201eNeben dem mit 5 Millionen gef\u00f6rderten FH-Impulsprojekt SmartPro ist structur.e mit rund einer Million Euro Bundesf\u00f6rderung eines der gr\u00f6\u00dften Vorhaben, die wir jemals an der Hochschule hatten\u201c, freut sich Professor Knoblauch. Dass die Hochschule bei dem Konzert der Gro\u00dfen eine derart tragende Rolle spiele, unterstreiche die St\u00e4rke und Sichtbarkeit der Batterieforschung in Aalen.
