Dieses Verfahren, das Kompositgalvanoformung genannt wird, wurde von einem Aalener Forscherteam rund um <a href=\"https:\/\/smart-pro.org\/en\/netzwerk\/forschende\/#timo-soergel\" rel=\"noreferrer\">Prof. Dr. Timo S\u00f6rgel<\/a> entwickelt und ist mittlerweile in Deutschland, Frankreich und Gro\u00dfbritannien patentiert.<\/p>\n<p>Aalen Fasziniert stehen die G\u00e4ste Mitte Dezember beim feierlichen Produktionsstart im Galvanotechniklabor der Hochschule Aalen und blicken auf die neue Technikumsanlage. Eine Walze dreht sich langsam in einer tiefgr\u00fcnen Fl\u00fcssigkeit, dem Elektrolyten, und am Ende rollt meterweise Elektrodenfolie vom F\u00f6rderband, entstanden quasi aus dem Nichts \u2013 eben per Galvanoformung. \u201eDamit haben wir endlich den langersehnten Meilenstein in unserem Validierungsprojekt vollumf\u00e4nglich erreicht\u201c, freut sich FINO-Mitarbeiterin <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hs-aalen.de\/de\/users\/4255\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Dr. Sandra Meinhard<\/a>, die das Projekt von Anfang an begleitet und mit vorangetrieben hat. Das Validierungsprojekt, genannt \u201eGoForE\u201c, wird seit 2018 vom <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bmbf.de\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Bundesministerium f\u00fcr Bildung und Forschung<\/a> mit rund 1,4 Millionen Euro gef\u00f6rdert. Ziel des Projekts ist es, herauszufinden, ob das in Aalen entwickelte Verfahren das Potential hat, bestehende Batterieproduktionsverfahren abzul\u00f6sen und in Zukunft kosteng\u00fcnstigere, umweltfreundlichere und verbesserte Batteriekomponenten herzustellen.<\/p>\n<p>Der Produktionsstart war der erste wichtige Schritt hierf\u00fcr. \u201eWir sind sehr froh dar\u00fcber, mit der Firma <a href=\"http:\/\/elanis-anlagenbau.com\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">ELANIS\u00a0<\/a>einen kompetenten Partner gefunden zu haben, der das notwendige Know-how und den Mut hatte, diese herausfordernde Erstanlage mit uns umzusetzen\u201c, lobt <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hs-aalen.de\/de\/users\/9758\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Oliver Kesten<\/a>. Der Oberfl\u00e4chentechnologe und gelernte Galvaniseurs-Meister plant und \u00fcberwacht zuk\u00fcnftig die Produktion an der Anlage. F\u00fcr die Charakterisierung der neuen Elektrodenfolien wird FINO-Mitarbeiterin <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hs-aalen.de\/de\/users\/16923\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Katharina J\u00e4ger<\/a> zust\u00e4ndig sein. In den kommenden Monaten will das Forscherteam herausfinden, wie sich das Verfahren optimieren l\u00e4sst und an welchen Stellschrauben noch gedreht werden muss, um letztendlich die besten neuen Batterien zu liefern.
