Jetzt kann die Ger\u00e4teinfrastruktur am ZOT um ein neues Nanoimprint-Lithographiesystem erweitert und dadurch die Nanowelt f\u00fcr die Funktionalisierung optischer Komponenten erschlossen werden. Die finanziellen Mittel zur Beschaffung im Umfang von 1,2 Millionen Euro werden durch das Bundesministerium f\u00fcr Bildung und Forschung (BMBF) zur Verf\u00fcgung gestellt.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mit dem F\u00f6rderprogramm \u201eFH-Invest\u201c erm\u00f6glicht das BMBF Fachhochschulen strategische Investitionen in Forschungsger\u00e4te und -anlagen oder Demonstratoren zu t\u00e4tigen. Ziel ist es dabei, starke Forschungsbereiche mit modernster Infrastruktur auszustatten, um neue anwendungsorientierte Fragestellungen effizient bearbeiten und Ergebnisse rasch in Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft transferieren zu k\u00f6nnen. Im Rahmen der letzten Ausschreibung nahmen bundesweit mehr als 90 Hochschulen teil, von denen knapp jede f\u00fcnfte gef\u00f6rdert wurde.<\/p>\n<p>Der Antrag der Hochschule Aalen wurde durch <a href=\"https:\/\/smart-pro.org\/en\/netzwerk\/forschende\/#andreas-heinrich\">Prof. Dr. Andreas Heinrich<\/a>\u00a0vom <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hs-aalen.de\/de\/facilities\/12\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Zentrum f\u00fcr Optische Technologien<\/a> koordiniert. Sein Steckenpferd ist die additive Fertigung von optischen Komponenten wie Linsen und Beleuchtungselementen. Mit konventionellen 3D-Drucksystemen sind seine Aktivit\u00e4ten bisher auf Strukturgr\u00f6\u00dfen im Bereich von einigen Tausendstel Millimeter beschr\u00e4nkt. Mit dem neuen Forschungsger\u00e4t kann er jetzt in den Nanometerbereich (Millionstel Millimeter) vordringen. \u201eDas Ger\u00e4t kommt in vielen laufenden Projekten zum Einsatz, darunter auch SmartPro, das ebenfalls vom BMBF gef\u00f6rdert und gerade um vier weitere Jahre verl\u00e4ngert wurde.\u201c Mit dem neuen Nanoimprint-Lithographiesystem kann zum Beispiel die Oberfl\u00e4che optischer Komponenten mit Strukturen im Nanometerbereich und dadurch mit neuen Funktionalit\u00e4ten wie ver\u00e4nderter Lichtbrechung versehen werden. Nanoimprinting kann f\u00fcr unterschiedlichste Materialien und Anwendungen eingesetzt werden und gewinnt als vielversprechende Zukunftstechnologie in verschiedenen Branchen zunehmend an Bedeutung. Daher unterst\u00fctzen auch die beiden Unternehmen Carl Zeiss Vision aus Aalen und BWF Profiles aus Offingen aktiv die Forschungsaktivit\u00e4ten mit dem neuen System.<\/p>\n<p>Prof. Heinrich freut sich \u00fcber das neue System: \u201eDie Photonikforschung hat traditionell einen hohen Stellenwert an der Hochschule Aalen. Durch kontinuierliche Verbesserung unseres Ger\u00e4teparks k\u00f6nnen wir unsere Forschung und damit auch unsere Attraktivit\u00e4t f\u00fcr Kooperationen mit Unternehmen und Forschungseinrichtungen weit \u00fcber die Region hinaus ausbauen.
